How Are Costs Calculated?
CtrlSite uses a similar pricing model to LLMs such as chatGPT. Each task is partly related to the number of LLM tokens used to complete it. Tokens are small units of text, the words you send in your request (input) and the words the AI generates in response. The more complex the task, the more tokens it uses.
Unlike some AI tools that mask the real-terms cost of tasks behind tokens or credits, we provide clear cost-per-task data in every chat, instantly. You can also view data and download billing invoices in your account profile.
How Much Do Tasks Typically Cost?
Though every task and every WordPress site is unique, we’ve provided some real examples of CtrlSite tasks below, with the actual cost incurred. Tasks such as simple content edits can cost less than 10 cents, while requests involving multiple complex phases may cost more than $5.

CtrlSite runs on a simple prepaid model. You start by adding credit to your account (minimum $10), and each task automatically deducts its exact cost from your balance in real time. When your credit runs low, you can top up manually or enable automatic billing to replenish your balance seamlessly, so work continues without interruption.
For example, when your balance falls below $5, your payment method will be charged $10 to be added to your account balance. Billing is via Stripe, which includes methods such as major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
